Founder
In 2020, amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, my venture into the realm of car sales began unexpectedly. A fortuitous message on WhatsApp from a lady informed me of her husband’s newly established car dealership in Vereeniging. This message extended an invitation—an opportunity to refer potential clients and earn a commission of R2000.00 for each successful referral.
The prospect of earning from the comfort of my home fueled my excitement, and I promptly started showcasing their inventory on social media platforms. The response was immediate, with numerous inquiries and applications pouring in. Impressed by the swift influx of interest, the dealership owner encouraged me to expand my role beyond mere referrals.
In 2021, a chance encounter on Facebook led me to an employment opportunity at Hyundai East Rand. Despite lacking a driver’s license, the company saw potential in me and suggested obtaining one. Subsequently, I secured my license and embarked on a journey to Limpopo, where I not only sold cars but also collected a plethora of applications.
While working at Renault, I received an enticing job offer, marking my official transition into the realm of selling cars from September 2021 to October 2022. My responsibilities included facilitating the sale of both brand-new and pre-owned vehicles, and during this period, I attained permanent employment status.
Upon parting ways with Motus, I continued my journey as a spotter but expanded my scope beyond a single dealership. Collaborating with renowned brands such as VW and Raceview Motus, I streamlined my operations to sell cars predominantly from the comfort of my home.
In 2024, I took a significant leap by establishing my own company, specializing in buying and selling cars across various brands. Operating without a physical storefront, my business model emphasizes an online application process. Clients submit their requests, and I leverage my connections with partnered dealerships to source the desired vehicles.
As a spotter, I consistently handle approximately 20 applications monthly, facilitating the delivery of a notable 3 to 8 cars, sourced from different dealerships. My entrepreneurial journey is characterized by adaptability, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to providing clients with seamless car-buying experiences.
As my company continues to grow, I remain dedicated to delivering exceptional service in the ever-evolving automotive landscape.”
